Police are investigating the death of a 10-day-old child. Police say there are no outward signs of a suspicious death. Police will await the autopsy results from the medical examiner before drawing any conclusions. Police processed the scene out of an abundance of caution. The sex of the child is not being released. The incident occurred on Fairview Avenue, a block from St. Vincent's Hospital.

9:00am--#Milford CT #Bridgeport CT-- Earlier today, at around 8:30am, the G E Credit Union on Bic Drive was robbed by a man who displayed a semi automatic handgun. The two robbers fled in a 4 door Accord, and were last seen in Bridgeport.
2:33pm--#Easton CT-- Report of an oven fire at 30 Meadow Ridge Drive.
3:16pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a street robbery on Madison Avenue near Catherine Street. The robber was a teenager in a green hoody, he had a black 9mm handgun.
11:29am--#Bridgeport CT-- A bus from Lee Transport was involved in a motor vehicle accident at 2977 Madison Avenue. There are reported to be children on board, it is unknown
9:45pm--#Fairfield CT-- Report of an attempted break in, back window smashed in on the 100 block of Beach Road.
10:49am--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a structure fire, smoke in the front of a building at 560 North Washington Ave. This turned out to be a drier vent. Report of a structure fire, smoke coming out of the back of a white church on Harriet street, near East Washington Ave. Firefighters on scene, this too is a drier vent.
