Man Charged in Westport Kidnapping and Assault
On Friday, October 16, 2026, a complainant came to police headquarters wishing to report an incident that had occurred on Thursday, October 15. What was determined to be the victim in this incident reported that they had recently ended a relationship with Vanderval Ferreria. This apparently upset Ferreira who made several telephone calls and sent several threatening text messages over a period of days. These messages included threats to kill the victim.
