9:41am–#Fairfield CT– TJ Max on Tunxis Hill  appears continues to be the hot spot for vehicle fires.  A mini-van had a fire fueled by gasoline from the engine compartment that caused the fire to spread in a stream across the street from the store.  Once foam was applied the fire was quickly brought under control.  Radio reports say about 15-20 gallons of gas was spilled on the roadway as a result.  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection was called regarding the spill.  Firefighters used speedy dry to dam the gasoline to prevent it from going down the storm drain.  The roadway was closed for a short time.  Foam can still be seen on the roadway and police have received calls regarding this.
