Brophy Fired From Fairfield Patch

Metro-North fees rising soon

HARTFORD, Conn. “Man” arrested for beating woman in Southport

Miranda was visiting a friend in Fairfield and took her vehicle without permission. He damaged her personal property, including the car, by driving over the lawn knocking down the above ground pool. Unilever-Makers of Vaseline sticks it to almost 200 employees

[caption id="attachment_2674" align="alignleft" width="291" caption="Unilever to close Clinton plant"][/caption] Unilever is closing its manufacturing plant in Clinton next year, laying off 184 workers who make Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and other body-care products at the facility. The work will be transfrerred to Unilever's other facilities throughout 2012. Layoffs will include 49 salaried and 135 hourly employees.
