A ten year old Bridgeport girl was pulled from Lake Mohegan after being under water for about 45 minutes. EMTs performed CPR at the scene “This is heartbreaking, but we are hoping they can perform a miracle and save her” Chief of Police Gary MacNamara told us. “She was swimming with her mother, the daughter slipped, the mother grabbed her, at one point she had her on her back but she slid off and went under” Lieutenant James Perez told us. Chief MacNamara confirmed after 10pm that the girl did pass away.
