3:42pm–#Fairfield CT–#cttraffic–Fairfield first responders have been challenged a second time today.  Firefighters have located after an extensive search a rolled over pickup truck in the woods at Westway Road overpass near Oxford Road after receiving vague information from a passerby .  The car was traveling I-95 when the driver drove off the road.  There are four victims injured.

Fire Department Press Release: Engine Four, Ladder One and Car 3 at 3:30 p.m. responded to a reported auto accident in the woods by an Officer of the Connecticut State Police that could be seen from the highway. This incident was located approximately ½ mile west of Westway Road, Southport in the woods between Interstate 95 and the Metro North Railroad Tracks.  A pickup truck off-roading with four adult males, all residents of Fairfield, struck a tree.  The vehicle had extensive front end damage, and three of the adult males suffered severe injuries.  Medical attention was provided by personnel of Engine Four and Ladder One under the direction of LT James Shiller.  The three patients were transported to local area hospitals by American Medical Response.  The vehicle was stabilized by the personnel of Ladder One.  It appears the vehicle made access to the wooded area from an opening on Westway Road.  Metro North Railroad was advised of the units operating in the area of the tracks.
