4:00pm-#Stratford CT–  Eight people were injured, two critically after an SUV plowed into a Pretty Nails located at Pretty Nails 411 Barnum Avenue Cutoff (McDonald’s and the movie theater plaza) this afternoon.  Not a lot of details at this moment.  WTNH is reporting the driver of the van was charged with driving while impaired.  The shop faces a stop sign which it appears the SUV ignored.  The vehicle was about twenty five feet deep into the store.  Initial calls came in of shots fired which was not the case, possibly due to the sound of the crash sounding like a bang of a gun.   Victims were taken to both St. Vincent’s and Bridgeport Hospital.
