(Bridgeport, CT – June 25, 2013) – A 42-year-old was robbed by a woman and two men early Monday after the victim was approached and asked if he wanted some company.

Officer Thomas Harper was dispatched to Sanford Place and Vine Street on a reported street robbery and located the 42-year-old victim, who stated the incident happened on Milne Street near his house.

He said he got out of his car just before 2 a.m.  when he was approached by a woman who asked if he wanted some company. He declined but the woman walked behind him and started to massage his shoulders, he said.

She suddenly threw him to the ground and two males emerged and robbed him.

After the suspects fled, the victim attempted to followed the two males in his car.

There have been several similar strong armed robberies in the same general area recently.
