A not so happy ending….

(Bridgeport, CT – June 25, 2013) – A 42-year-old was robbed by a woman and two men early Monday after the victim was approached and asked if he wanted some company. Officer Thomas Harper was dispatched to Sanford Place and Vine Street on a reported street robbery and located the 42-year-old victim, who stated the incident happened on Milne Street near his house. He said he got out of his car just before 2 a.m.  when he was approached by a woman who asked if he wanted some company. 2 shot in leg in seperate incidents

(Bridgeport, CT – June 25, 2013) – Two men were shot in the leg Tuesday night. Officer Ferdinand Ferrao responded to the area of Granfield and Wessels avenues at about 11:45 p.m. and located the victim, Lynwood Whitley, 18, of Bridgeport.  He was shot in the upper left thigh. The victim told Detective Kenneth McKenna that a male came up to him and pointed a gun at him.  He states he struggled for the gun and was shot.  He was either unable to or unwilling to provide any further information. Hit Pedestrian Passes

#Bridgeport CT--Thomas M. Jacob, 51, of Bridgeport who wasstruck near the corner of State Street near Park Avenue has died of his injures. At this time, no charges have been filed against the operator of the vehicle that struck Jacob. The driver, identified as Milton Dickens, 50, of Bridgeport, immediately pulled over and was cooperative with investigators.
