#Bridgeport, CT – Oct. 25, 2013 – A city man faces charges that he sold marijuana near a city school.

Responding to an anonymous community complaint, the narcotics division this week set up surveillance on Herkimer Street to investigate drug sales. The dead-end street abuts the property of Central High School.

During the course of the investigation, Officer Miguel Perez observed two apparent drug deals. Police subsequently arrested Thomas Massey, 48, and seized a small amount of cash along with marijuana and paraphernalia. Massey, of 3 Herkimer St., faces charges of sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school.
