#Bridgeport, CT – Oct. 29, 2013 – A 34-year-old woman faces assault charges after she stabbed her teen-aged son during a dispute early this morning.

Officer Joshua Ortiz was called to a Jackson Avenue address on a report of an assault and spoke there with the victim and a relative of the victim. The victim stated that he was at his mother’s house  on Wood Avenue earlier and she asked him to take out the garbage. A dispute happened when he stated that he would take the garbage out in the morning.

The mother, Jacqueline  Morris, allegedly stabbed the teen in the back. He then walked back to his relative’s house on Jackson Avenue.

Morris was charged with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $10,000.
