Westport CT– 12/23/2013,–William O’Brien of Fairfield, CT was issued an infraction after officers responded to a complaint of suspicious people in the woods. O’Brien was found cross bow hunting and had harvested a deer. While he did have a valid hunting permit and a signed private land consent form from the landowner, he was issued an infraction for 26-97 violation of Westport’s Town Ordinance against hunting.
