2:50am–#Stratford CT–In what sounded like roll call on the Stratford Police radio channels turned out to be assignments for officers to report to all Stratford Schools. For the first half hour at least. December 14th marks the anniversary of Sandy Hook. Officers assigned to the schools are there for only the first half hour while students are being dropped off. It is uncertain if the morning shifts will maintain the presence all day or just for parents to see during drop off and pick up.
