#Bridgeport CT–Phone scammers are batting five hundred so far.  The calls usually say they have your family member hostage and will only release them if you wire them money. An earlier call to a Bridgeport resident knew it was a scam and called police to report it.  A woman on Success Avenue just wired the money only to find out her brother was ok.
