(Bridgeport, CT – May 5, 2014) – A 33-year-old man was injured during a fight stemming from a family dispute.
Officer Benita Bailey responded to 17 Florence St. on Sunday just after 8 p.m. Police encountered the victim and other family members who were involved. Police learned that one man, 33-year-old Kent Woods, had been stabbed by a known party and that pepper spray had been discharged during the family dispute.
His injuries were not life threatening. The suspect fled before police arrived.
The incident remains under investigation.
