10:15ish–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters battled a massive inferno at 40 Hudson Street.  While on the way to the fire firefighters received word to use extreme caution at the scene for there police were called to a report of shots fired in the neighborhood.  The firefighters arrived on scene safely and was did a great job  quickly get water on the fire and getting the flames under control.   First and second inspections found everyone got out safely but sadly one dog had perished in the blaze.  The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
