(Bridgeport, CT — Aug. 30, 2014) — Detectives are investigating a shooting that happened in the Marina Village housing complex early today.
Police responded  to the area of 380 Iranistan Ave. at about 2:30 a.m. near Building 22.
The victim, identified as Eugene Williams, 48, of Bridgeport, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he underwent surgery.
The investigation remains in its early stages. Based on initial witness accounts, police are seeking at least two suspects.

La policía respondió a la zona de 380 Iranistan Ave. alrededor de las 2:30 am cerca del edificio 22.
La víctima, identificada como Eugene Williams, de 48 años, de Bridgeport, sufrió una herida de bala en el cuello. Fue trasladado al Hospital de Bridgeport donde fue intervenido quirúrgicamente.
