Easter Egg Hunt For Everyone!

The Greens Farms Volunteer Fire Company will hold its 64th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 on the grounds of Long Lots School, Hyde Lane, Westport at 2:00 PM. Children will hunt for the eggs in age groups through age ten. Children finding special marked eggs will receive Easter baskets. The Easter bunny will be there to meet and greet the children. You do not have to be a citizen of Westport, it is open to everyone! Stratford News: Child Porn Arrest

On 03-21-2015 investigators from the Stratford Police Youth Bureau arrested John Naughright, age 36 of Stratford for Possession of Child Pornography. The arrest came after investigators served a search warrant at Naughright’s home. Naughright was taken into custody at his place of employment in New Haven by the investigating officers.  Naughright is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 04-02-2015. The search warrant and arrest are the result of information Stratford Officers gained while working with investigators in Sacramento California and the FBI Human Trafficking Task force. Governor Announces Affordable Housing Projects

#HARTFORD, CT– Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Department of Housing (DOH) Commissioner and Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) Board Chairman Evonne M. Klein today announced investments of more than $60 million in funding for 14 affordable housing projects across the state. #Bridgeport Teacher Shaves Hair and Beard For Cancer

#Bridgeport Police Investigate Shooting Of Construction Worker

#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport Police Press Release: Police arrested a suspect who fatally shot a construction worker this morning in the city’s North End.   “Officers reacted immediately and pursued the suspect on foot,” said Police Chief Joseph L. Gaudett. “Officers converged the area and the suspect was quickly arrested hiding behind a house on Saunders Avenue. Police recovered a handgun.”  Detectives were interviewing the suspect at Police Headquarters this afternoon. At this time, no motive had been established.
