(Editorial)  You’ve seen the commercials, they city of Bridgeport continues to strive to better itself and it has.  I’ve been running DoingItLocal.com for over 5 years now and crime is WAY down.  Steele Point is going up and new businesses are coming to it and other parts of the city .  Some of the nicest people I know are from Bridgeport.  That’s what a city is about, people.  Of course there are bad people and I will continue to report them on the police calls.   But there are way more nice, hard working people than bad.  It is all a mind set.  We need to change that mind set if anything is going to get better.  There were a lot of negative comments in yesterday’s press release regarding the new tenants at Steele Point.  If you keep thinking negatively about something guess what, it won’t get better.  Let’s start by changing our mindset, let’s give things a chance!  This is still a great city, let’s all starting thinking this way.
