Bridgeport Police Press Release:

#Bridgeport, Conn. (August 4, 2015) – Yesterday evening, a two-year-old child was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Pearl St. and Park St.  The child was transported to Bridgeport hospital, and is currently in fair condition. The child’s mother said that the two-year-old was in the backyard of their home playing, and must have snuck out. The child’s mother also noted that she did not witness the accident.  The driver of the vehicle was issued an infraction for operating without a license.

Ayer por la tarde, un niño de dos años de edad, fue atropellado por un vehículo en la intersección de la calle Pearl y el parque St. El niño fue trasladado al hospital de Bridgeport, y actualmente se encuentra en buenas condiciones. La madre del niño dijo que el de dos años de edad, estaba en el patio trasero de su casa de juego, y debe haber escapado. La madre del niño también señaló que ella no presenció el accidente. El conductor del vehículo se emitió una infracción por operar sin licencia.
