First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that the Town of Fairfield is holding its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday August 29, 2015 at Veterans Park on Reef Road from 9 am to 2 pm.hazwasteday2015

http://www.fairfieldct.org/hazwaste, for a list of acceptable (and unacceptable) materials.

Since May 1990, the towns and cities which are members of HazWaste Central have disposed of and recycled more than 1,000,000 gallons of hazardous waste.

On Saturday August 29, 2015, the Town of Fairfield will need volunteers from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Volunteers will not be handling any hazardous waste.
