On Friday August 14th, 2015 David Reichard (age 26) turned herself into the Westport Police Department after learning that there was a warrant for his arrest. The arrest warrant for Reichard stems from a bad check complaint received from First County Bank back in May 2015.

From the complaint received it is alleged that Reichard deposited a check for $3960.00 into his bank account which was forged. The investigation by the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau revealed that the victim, Monroe Muffler of Monroe Connecticut had reported its business account compromised months earlier and that the suspect had who is not known to them had forged the check and attempted to receive money from their account.

Arrested was David Reichard (age 26) of Stamford Connecticut Reichard was charged with Larceny 3rd degree C.G.S 53a-124 Forgery 3rd degree C.G.S 53a-140 Reichard posted $5000 bond and was issued a court date of August 24th 2015.
