Middletown, CT (October 28, 2015) – On April 23, 2015 Detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Hartford Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant at 110 South St. in Hartford as part of an on-going child pornography investigation.State Police detectives initiated the investigation after receiving information that the accused, Tyler Kozak (a.k.a. TylerElster-Kozak), shared a link containing visual depictions of suspected Tyler Kozakchild pornography.

 

Through the course of the investigation, detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant from the superior court.  Upon conducting the search, detectives seized laptop computers, memory devices, a cell phone, tablet and 8mm tape. During the forensic examinations of the seized items numerous Images and videos of suspected child pornography were located.

 

On September 9, 2015 detectives obtained an arrest warrant from the superior court for Tyler Kozak (DOB 6/14/94) in relation to the investigation. Tyler Kozak is wanted for Possession of Child Pornography and Promoting a Minor in an Obscene Performance.
