UPDATE: From the Bridgeport Police Department-Nissan Altima travelling west on Fairfield Ave with 3 occupants  struck the right side of a 2002 Honda Civic with 3 occupants travelling north on Lafayette at the intersection.  The traffic signal was flashing yellow for Fairfield Ave and red for Lafayette sq.  EMS and Fire Dept responded and extricated the occupants of the Honda.  The driver of the Honda Michele Saez, 23 of Bridgeport later went to seek medical attention on her own.  There were no other reported injuries.

2:02am–#Bridgeport CT–First responders were called to Lafayette and Fairfield Avenue for a two car crash that required firefighters to pop the door open to get a passenger out of the car that was on top of the tree. This one is interesting as the car missing a bumper was on Fairfield Avenue while the other car knocked the tree down going uphill but the car appears to have hit the tree going backwards up the hill.
