House Bill 5408 Would Require any Individual Openly Carrying a Firearm to Produce their Permit if Asked By Law Enforcement Officers

 

WHO:             Police Officers from the municipalities of Bridgeport, Trumbull, and Stratford, union leaders with AFSCME Council 4

 

WHAT:          Police Officers from Bridgeport, Trumbull and Stratford to call for legislative passage of House Bill No. 5408, “An Act Concerning the Presentation of a Carry Permit” which would clarify the law regarding open carry of firearms.  Specifically, it would require anyone open carrying a firearm to present their permit to law enforcement when asked.
