On 05/19/16 at approximately 1:00am, Ryan Gussen was stopped by the Westport Police for almost crashing into the guardrails on the Sherwood Island Connector, and waiting at green lights. Gussen was slurring his speech and was moving slowly. Officers performed the Standard Field Sobriety Tests and determined that Gussen was under the influence of narcotics and alcohol. Gussen was taken into custody. On his person, Officers located 2 Adderall pills and 2.5 Xanax pills in a pill container that should not have those pills in it. While being processed, Gussen refused to submit to the urine test. He has a court date on 05/31/16 in Norwalk.
