Today at approximately 11:00am, Westport Police received a 911 call from employees of Chase Bank, 184 Main Street, reporting a robbery. Responding Officers determined that a middle aged white male entered bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect indicated he had a weapon, but did not display one. An undetermined amount of money was taken and the suspect left on foot south on Main Street.   Anyone with information should call the Westport Police Department main number at 203-341- 6000 or the Detective Bureau directly at 203-341- 6082.
