12:20am–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A person showed up in a private vehicle at Bridgeport Hospital shot.  Police canvassed Stratford and Hollister Avenue and located shell casings and a blood trail on Logan Street.    There was no word on the victims injuries or condition.

A police officer can be seen in the photo “taping off” Logan Street with crimes scene tape recycled from previous crimes scenes due to city budget cuts.  The crime scene was large and he ran out of the recycled tape.   Another officer responded to the scene to tape off the Connecticut Avenue side.  I point this out only because the police officer have been doing this for a while now and more budget cuts and layoffs are on the horizon.
