12:00ish–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Today around noon, a large fight broke out in the cafeteria at Bassick High School which continued outside  between the two school buildings.  Two guards were sent to St Vincent’s ER,  9 Students were arrested and suspended. It took approximately 20 minutes to gain control, Bassick High School was placed in, lock in and lock out for the rest of the day. At this time, we are not sure what started the fight or if it is gang related.  Several students filmed the incident which has been posted on social media.   Since the commencement of school we have been dealing with fights between PT and the Green Homes, yesterday, two students from PT entered the main office and assault a student from the Greens who was registering for school.
