[Fairfield, CT, October 27, 2016] Our popular What’s Cooking presenter, Colleen Bell, will be back at the Fairfield Public Library in time for holiday food preparations. On Saturday, November 12 there will be an instructional class on preparing a Rose Pie Crust. The session will be in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, at 2 pm.

The holidays are coming and they are the perfect time to make a rose piecrust that will truly be “over the top.” In this hands-on class, you will mix a delicious piecrust and then shape it into a gorgeous bouquet of roses that can be brought home to top off your favorite pie filling for baking. The pie crust can be frozen to use for holiday pies. Please bring your favorite rolling pin and apron so you can participate. Advanced registration is required due to the limited space.
