#Stratford Connecticut–On December 6, 2017 investigators from the Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit completed an investigation into alleged cocaine sales in local bars. The investigation led to an arrest warrant for Evaristo Castro, age 56 of Bridgeport as well as a search warrant for Castro’s home at 295 Putnam Street (apt 1). Castro was taken into custody during a traffic stop and the search warrant executed immediately thereafter with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department.

Seized was an SKS Rifle, approximately $18,749 dollars and 260 grams of cocaine.  Evaristo who is a convicted felon was charged with the below listed crimes.

Castro is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on December 16, 2016. He was held on a $250,000 dollar bond.
