8:47pm–#Fairfield CT– Firefighters were called to Random Road (off Valley Road) for a brush fire close to a structure. Firefighters quickly knocked the fire down. Firefighters told me the resident emptied contents from his fireplace which were supposedly out for a couple of days but obviously they weren’t.
