Bridgeport News: Homicide On The West Side

BRIDGEPORT POLICE UPDATE: The victim from last night's homicide has been identified as 43 year old Lawane Toles of 286 Sherman Ave in New Haven. Anyone with information regarding his murder is urged to call 203-576-TIPS.   Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Yesterday at about 21:22 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of  a body in the roadway at Railroad Ave near Norman Street. When they arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounce the victim dead at the scene. Detectives are working to confirm his identify. Bridgeport Cracks Down On Illegal Dumping

Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Ganim, Bridgeport Police and Public Facilities came together today to  announce its victories against the War on Blight. Recently, a local man was caught red-handed illegally dumping nearly 50 tires on the side of the road off of Newfield Avenue. Days later, another individual was caught dumping a Jacuzzi in the same location. Westport News: Cyber Tips Leads To Child Porn Arrest

#Westport, CT-- In March 2016, the Westport Police Department received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a residence in Westport had uploaded child pornography. An investigation into the source led to the home of Daniel Krulewitch. A search warrant was executed on his home in April 2016 by the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau and the regional Technical Investigations Unit. Searches of the contents of his electronic devices revealed over 50 images of child pornography.
