Police UPDATE: Last night, at 2338 hours, officers responded to a report of a party shot in front of 1052 Stratford Avenue. When they arrived, they found Fredrick Shelby (DOB: 4-30-78 of 141 Union Avenue) suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Medics pronounced Shelby dead at the scene. Detectives are working to determine the motive for the homicide. Anyone with information should contact Detective Heanue at 203-581-5242.
