2022-07-08@10:06pm–#Bridgeport CT– A battery mixed in with the cardboard is thought to have caused a fire at the carboard recycling plant at 1300 Seaview Avenue. Firefighters kept the fire contained to one of the compactors. There were no reported injuries. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has been called to the scene.
