Westport News: Woman Dies In I-95 Crash

State Police said a woman lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 95. The woman who passed has been identified as 44-year-old Julia Delva Clarke from Fairfield.

The collision happened on the northbound lanes of I-95, just south of exit 18, around 12:30 a.m. The vehicles involved in the crash were a tractor-trailer and a Porsche Macan. According to reports from troopers, the tractor-trailer had come to a stop in the right lane due to heavy traffic conditions.

Julia Delva Clarke, who was driving the Porsche, rear-ended the stationary tractor-trailer. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries. State police have stated that their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
