Bridgeport Firefighters were called to Fire Engine Pizza on Fairfield Avenue for a structure fire. Assistant Chief Cronin told us they discovered a fire in the flue/duct work that extended to the roof, which they quickly extinguished. The fire marshal was called to investigate the cause, and the restaurant will need to be inspected by the health department prior to opening.
