Man Assaulted, Robbed After Leaving Gentleman’s Club

(Bridgeport, CT – March 10, 2014) – A city man stated he was robbed and assaulted after leaving a gentleman’s club Saturday. Police encountered the victim while investigating a hit-and-run accident involving two parked cars on Sanford Place. Sgt. Vincent Ingrassia followed the trail left by the fleeing vehicle for nearly three miles and located a Nissan pickup truck with heavy front-end damage. The car matched descriptions provided by witnesses. Police located the 25-year-old man who stated he was driving and accidentally hit the cars after being robbed. Teen Charged With Attempted Robbery and Assault

(Bridgeport, CT – March 10, 2014) – A 16-year-old city youth was arrested Saturday after a disturbance at a Park Avenue business. Officer Kenneth Ruge responded to Asia Travel Metro PCS, 1681 Park Ave., at 2:22 p.m. and learned that an employee had seen a young man take something from a shelf and leave the store. The employee followed him outside and asked him what he took. The suspect and his friends pushed the victim around and fled on foot.
