His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. #Middletown Connecticut-- The following are the State Police Christmas holiday enforcement stats. This enforcement operation started on 12/22/2016 at 00:01 a.m. and ran until 11:59 p.m. on 1/2/2017. Troopers observed a high traffic volume over the Christmas holiday. This State Police enforcement effort continued through the New Year’s Eve Holiday Celebration. Troopers conducted enforcement patrols throughout the state on both highways and secondary roads. In addition, sobriety checkpoints were set up in an effort to deter anyone from the consumption of alcohol and driving as we approached and celebrated the New Year. Westport News: Child Pornography Arrest Made

(Westport, CT) The Westport Police Department Detective Bureau was alerted to an inappropriate sexting relationship between Westport resident Paul Jude Letersky, age 47, and a juvenile from Colorado. On January 04, 2017, at approximately 5:00am, the Westport Police Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on Letersky’s home, 175 Riverside Avenue. Over 50 digital images of Child Pornography were discovered during the search. Based on this evidence, Letersky was arrested on scene for Child Pornography 1st Degree. An arrest warrant was also served on Letersky charging him with Enticing a Minor and Risk of Injury, stemming from the original complaint. Letersky is being held on $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Court on January 13, 2017. This incident…

Bridgeport News: Bridge Closing For Replacement

Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport today is alerting residents of repairs to the Arctic Street Bridge over Pembroke Lakes that will temporary close Arctic Street from Helen Street to Seaview Avenue for six months beginning January 9, 2017. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing deteriorated Arctic Street Bridge with a new structure that has low initial and life-cycle costs, minimizes the impacts to local residents, and requires minimal maintenance for the City. The project also includes approximately 200-feet of pavement reconstruction at the approaches to the bridge, new concrete sidewalks along each side of Arctic Street, and new roadside safety guiderail.  The exposed gas main will also be relocated under the bridge to eliminate…
