2024-04-27@8:08pm--#Westport CT-- #cttraffic-- A crash between a tractor-trailer and a passenger car in the right lane on I-95 northbound about a mile past the 18 on ramp. Possibly injuries.
Fairfield News: U Haul Truck Strikes Bridge
Report of a U HAUL Truck that struck the railroad overpass on Center Street. The truck has been removed MTA arrived to inspect the bridge, and traffic can pass under at this time.
Stratford News: Porch Fire
2024-04-27@1:14pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters just began laying into a structure fire on Freeman Avenue when the alarm for a fire in the 700 block of Honeyspot Road for a porch fire. Stratford immediately called Bridgeport to assist. Both fires were extinguished quickly. No reported injuries. The fire marshal was called to both scenes to investigate the cause.

2024-04-27@1:11pm--#Stratford CT-- Firefighters were called to a structure fire on Freeman Avenue. The fire was towards the rear of the building and extended to a second structure and a brush fire. Everyone made it out of the building safely. A couple minutes after arriving to this fire another alarm of fire was called on Honeyspot Road. See our second report.
Bridgeport News: Man Shot
2024-04-27@12:45am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a shooting in the 300 block of Orchard Street (near Boston Avenue). The man was shot in the back. Police said in a statement "At 12:45am hrs, ECC received multiple calls of a shooting incident at the 300 block of Orchard Street. Upon arrival, officers found one individual down. The victim was promptly transported to Bridgeport Hospital. No further updates on the victim’s condition at this time."

Stolen Car Arrest
2024-04-26@7:45pm--#Westport CT-- Two people are in police custody after being boxed in by State Police and Westport Police on I-95 northbound near exit 18. The stolen van with New York plates. A state police car was rear-ended but reported no damage.
