I was watching Monday Night Football and Walmart was advertising "have it by December 23rd if you order line, you can pick it up for FREE at the store" (wow what a bonus). Well, I tried that twice a few weeks ago and it almost didn't work out TWICE-- in the same week! Police spokesperson Av Harris said the robbery occurred somewhere between the trains station and the 500 block of Fairfield Avenue. The victim was in stable condition. 10:47am--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Fairfield Firefighters rescued a dog after falling through the ice on a pond at Robert Lane. Assistant Chief George Gomola said the dog owner was smart in not trying to rescue the dog himself, possibly becoming a victim himself. Gomola said the ice is deceiving, appearing safe when it is not.
