His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Bridgeport News: Pickup Driver Flees After SHU Bus Rollover

9:19pm--#SHU--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- The driver of a pickup truck fled the scene after a collision with a Sacred Heart University bus rolling the bus at the intersection of Cleveland and Lincoln Boulevard. One student was on board.  The student and driver of the bus were taken  to the hospital as a precaution.   Sounds like police have a lead on the driver of the pick up truck.

Stratford News: Possible Shooting

8:20pm--#Stratford Connecticut-- I'm getting a number of reports (a little late) of a possible shooting at Clover Park at 409 Canaan Road.  Witnesses told me they heard 4-5 shots others say more at a car.  Preliminary reports say  no one was hit. 8:20pm--#Stratford Connecticut-- Estoy recibiendo una serie de informes (un poco tarde) de un posible tiroteo en Clover Park en la calle 409 Canaan Rd. Bridgeport News: Package Store Robbed

8:50pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Robbery at West Side Package Store at 2045 Fairfield Avenue.  A black male, short corn rows, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans used a broken bottle as a weapon.  Police are searching around Albion Street for the suspect.  Taken was $600 cash, 2 small bottles of Hennesy, a one gallon bottle of Hennessy as well as Rémy Martin Cognac.   This news report is made possible by:

Bridgeport News: Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding With City Bus

1:55pm--#Bridgeport News: A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a GBT city bus at Jane and Street and Nobel Avenue.    Police have downloaded video from the bus and believe from that video that the motorcyclist ran the stop sign and began to “dump” the bike when it entered the intersection and had already hit the ground before hitting the bus.    The video shows the 9 year veteran bus driver operating properly and safely according to a police press release.  The bus driver was not issued any citation or ticket.  The video shows the bus operator had stopped to pick-up passengers and departed from the stop into the intersection when the cyclist ran the stop sign on Jane street and…
