11:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Tai Jiang Restaurant at 610 Boston Avenue was just robbed at gunpoint by two black males between the ages of 18-20, one wore a gray hoodie, the other a blue hoodie. #Bridgeport, Conn. (October 23, 2015) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced that a recent escapee, Nelson Vega of Stratford, is in custody and being processed. In the midst of an active search by the Bridgeport Police Department, today at approximately 10:30 p.m., recent escapee Nelson Vega (01/03/86) turned himself in to Police Headquarters (300 Congress St.). “Mr. Vega turned himself in as a direct result of police pressure,” said Police Chief Joseph Gaudett. “Our officers put the full court press on Mr. Vega’s friends, family, and associates.
