UPDATE: UPDATE: The victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the right side and two gunshot wounds to the right arm. The victim is in critical but stable condition. 5:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man was shot at North and Wells Street and transported to St. Vincent's Hospital by private vehicle. UPDATE: Persons responsible detained in the 2000 block of East Main Street of Bridgeport. Police had plate number and went to their home and got them. 3:41pm-- Two suspects wanted in burglary one in custody on Melville Avenue Nichols Avenue area. Two teens drove their bikes into the backyard of a house at Villa and Melville Avenue and attempted to break in. Alert neighbors called police. One in custody, police are looking for a black teen wearing a black or gray t-shirt. Trumbull K-9 assisting, tracking in the Brooklawn area now.

The vest was sponsored by Macy's and is embroidered with the sentiment “This gift of protection provided by Macy's”. K9 Nero, and his partner Trooper First Class Michael Beauton, patrol Troop G in Bridgeport. Three year old Nero is trained as a patrol dog, and cross-trained in narcotics detection.
