His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Malloy is directing U.S. and State of Connecticut flags to be flown at half-staff in the state in honor of the four United States Marines and a United States Navy officer slain in a Chattanooga, Tennessee shooting.  The Governor and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman released the following statement:   “Connecticut and the nation stands with the people of Tennessee and the many communities that have been devastated by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims as they are laid to rest – and with the states across the nation who are mourning the loss of their citizens.”   Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset…

Bridgeport News: Foot Pursuit Onto Route 8

9:55pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT-- A foot pursuit on Park Avenue the jumping the fence at Kolbe Cathedral  on Coleman Street then onto Washington Avenue.  Police lost the suspect for a few minutes then located him on the Route 8 on ramp near Dunkin Donuts/Laudramat the suspect then ran across the highway in an attempt to escape.  Police got him in custody on the highway.   I think he will need our sponsor:
