Fairfield News: Black Rock Turnpike Closed Due To Serious Crash

3:13am--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Route 58 Black Rock Turnpike is closed until further notice as police investigate a very serious accident between Candlewood Road and Burroughs Road. Police say the car was traveling on Burroughs Road and crashed under the truck owned by A&M Bronx Baking of Mount Vernon New York. You can see the drive axle has been snapped and entry marks just above that on the box portion of the truck above that axle. Firefighters told me the driver of the car has been transported to the hospital in a "serious accident". As with ALL breaking news facts and information can change quickly.
