UPDATE: I'm happy to report a doctor at the hospital was able to revive the victim and he is recovering from his wound 10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a homicide in the 1400 block of Fairfield Avenue. There is a blood trail from Poplar Street to the where the victim collapsed in front of the laundromat. He was stabbed in the chest according to witnesses. Fairfield Avenue is blocked from Howard to Poplar Street.

11:41am--Bridgeport CT-- The driver of a pickup truck learned first hand what it is like being hit by a Mack truck on Goldenrod Avenue. Actually he hit the Mack Truck that was at a dead stop according to witnesses. The impact was so great it bent the pickup between the cab and bed of the truck.
