(Bridgeport, CT -- Aug. 30, 2014) -- Detectives are investigating a shooting that happened in the Marina Village housing complex early today.Police responded to the area of 380 Iranistan Ave. at about 2:30 a.m. near Building 22.The victim, identified as Eugene Williams, 48, of Bridgeport, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he underwent surgery.The investigation remains in its early stages. Based on initial witness accounts, police are seeking at least two suspects.
