His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Investigators seek information in fatal accident

#Bridgeport, Conn. (February 12, 2015) – Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance for information involving what is being investigated as a fatal hit-and-run incident on February 6, 2015. The victim, Creighton Brevard, 41, of Bridgeport, was found in the roadway on Stratford Avenue at Pembroke Street at 1:08 a.m. by a motorist. He was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital. Sgt. Thomas Minar said investigators are seeking any witnesses to the incident and also constructing a timeline of the victim’s activities in the hours leading up to the incident. UPDATE:    #Bridgeport Police Press Release: At 11:37 p.m. in the 300 block of Wells Street. At 11:41 p.m., the victim arrived at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in a private car. Joshua Robles, 19,of Bridgeport, stated that he was sitting inside a car on Wells Street when two people approached. Shots were fired into the vehicle. Robles was struck in the chest and thigh. The injuries were not life threatening. Capt. Armando Perez, the captain of detectives,  said the shooting does not appear to be a random act. Robles’ name had surfaced as a possible suspect in a January shooting.
