#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating two separate shootings tonight. The first occurred on Lenox Avenue around 10:30pm (photo). About an hour later a call at Wentfield Park on Norman and Railroad Avenue for a woman shot in the back at the park. Radio reports say she was shot multiple times. As with all breaking news information will change, conditions of either victim is not known at this time. UPDATE: Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Two non-fatal shootings occurred in Bridgeport on Saturday night. The first was reported at 10:34 P.M. and occurred at 34 Lenox Avenue. 2:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters battled a very large fire at the corner of Fifth Street and Stratford Avenue this afternoon. Witnesses tell me there was a loud pop before the fire broke out. Firefighters searched the building twice before the blaze got really big and found the everyone got out of the building safely. They had the fire under control within an hour and was picking up their equipment by 3:45pm. There were no injuries fighting the fire. Stratford and Fairfield provided mutual aid to Bridgeport to cover empty firehouses. It was needed when there was a gas leak on Worth Street at 3:39pm.
